Substance Use Treatment Services

Detox programs provide safe withdrawal from drugs or alcohol for about five days in a 24-hour supervised environment. We support your goal toward recovery by connecting you to longer-term services. 

Contra Costa Health partners with organizations to provide treatment for opioid use disorders, methadone maintenance, detox services, and more.

Outpatient programs don’t require you to stay overnight. They include individual, group and family counseling, as well as education and relapse prevention.

Services Include:

• Assessment
• Personal treatment plan
• Encouragement to join support groups 

Residential programs offer 24/7 support, with at least 40 hours of counseling and structured activities each week.
