Care teams include psychiatrists, nurses, therapists and peer-support staff.

Mission Statement
East County Adult Mental Health Services utilizes a rehabilitation/recovery treatment approach. Our overall mission is to help patients with psychiatric disabilities increase their level of functioning and role satisfaction in the community with the least amount of on-going professional intervention. Our task is to help patients develop the skills necessary to find, get, and keep what is important to them.

Treatment Philosophy
Our treatment philosophy focuses on the patient’s individual strengths. We believe that treatment interventions should be individualized, flexible, culturally sensitive, respectful, and patient driven. It provides a whole-person treatment approach that addresses mental health, co-occurring disorders, and referrals to primary care. We promote wellness and recovery, and resilience.
