Primary Clinical Teaching Sites
Our residents care for patients at a variety of sites throughout Contra Costa County. The primary sites include the main hospital and our three community clinic sites in Martinez, Pittsburg and San Pablo
Contra Costa Regional Medical Center is the main county hospital located in Martinez and is the primary site for all inpatient rotations. Over 360,000 patients receive treatment here per year, which serves a wide variety of patients from different socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds.
Pittsburg Health Center provides primary and specialty clinic care to our East county residents.
Martinez Health Center provides primary and specialty clinic care and is located adjacent to the main hospital.
West County Health Center, located in San Pablo, provides primary and specialty clinic care to our residents in West County.
UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital, in Oakland, is a nationally ranked children's hospital. Our residents obtain some of their pediatric training there, doing rotations in inpatient, urgent, and emergency care.
