Los Medanos Health Advisory Committee
The Los Medanos Health Advisory Committee makes funding recommendations to the Board of Supervisors for health programs in the Pittsburg/Bay Point area previously served by the dissolved Los Medanos Community Healthcare District. The committee includes representatives from the local community and medical practitioners.
The Committee is charged with developing an area health plan to determine specific health needs of the community, identify priorities to address those needs and facilitate a request for proposals process.

The committee meets monthly on the second Tuesday of each month at the Pittsburg Health Center.

Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
Oct. 16, 2023: We are currently seeking proposals from community organizations interested in providing direct health programs designed to support initiatives that contribute to the improvement of community health and well-being to the residents of the Los Medanos Health Area. We invite your organization to participate and apply for this grant to bring your impactful health-related projects to life. Applicants may submit proposals for up to $50,000 in funding for the 2023-2024 fiscal year.
The deadline to submit proposals is November 17, 2023 at 4 p.m.
