About WIC
WIC is a nutrition program which stands for Women, Infants and Children. WIC serves pregnant women, women who have recently been pregnant, infants, children up to their fifth birthday.
WIC's Mission
WIC's mission is to provide all women, infants, and children healthy food, and the knowledge and opportunity to make healthy choices in an atmosphere of dignity and respect, thus enhancing the potential for all Californians to enjoy a higher quality of life.
Benefits and Services
WIC provides supplemental benefits for a variety of nutritious foods, nutrition education, support for breastfeeding, and referrals to other services in the community.
